Basketball Recap: Humansville Takes a Loss

Humansville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 61-16 loss at the hands of the Walnut Grove Tigers. While losing is never fun, Humansville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 500th, while Walnut Grove is ranked 69th).

Humansville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Walnut Grove, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.

While Humansville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on January 21st.
