Basketball Recap: Linden Gets the Win

Linden got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They skirted past the Westfield Blue Devils 48-46. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted since December 29, 2023.

Linden is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Westfield, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Linden Tigers duke it out with the Newark Collegiate Academy Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Newark Collegiate Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Linden likes a good challenge. As for Westfield, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against The Pingry School at 1:00 p.m. The Pingry School is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.8 points per game this season.
