Baseball Game Preview: Upper Scioto Valley Rams vs. Ada Bulldogs

The Upper Scioto Valley Rams will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Ada Bulldogs at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Upper Scioto Valley's offense. They lost 9-0 to New Knoxville on Thursday. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Rangers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Upper Scioto Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Macain Underwood, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Ada came up short against Cory-Rawson on Thursday and fell 6-3. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Upper Scioto Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ada, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Everything went Upper Scioto Valley's way against Ada when the teams last played back in April of 2022, as Upper Scioto Valley made off with a 16-2 victory. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
