Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cuba-Rushford). Their defense stepped up to hand the South Seneca Falcons a 6-0 shutout on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what Cuba-Rushford needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Cuba-Rushford has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those five matches. As for South Seneca, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-7.

As of now, neither Cuba-Rushford nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
