Softball Recap: Gurdon Comes Up Short

Gurdon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Harmony Grove Hornets, falling 20-10. If the Go-Devils were looking for revenge after losing 5-1 to the Hornets when the teams met back in March of 2020, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mikaela Bradshaw made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and two RBI. Lillie Garner was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3.

Gurdon's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Harmony Grove, they pushed their record up to 7-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Gurdon has already played their next game (against Bearden), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Harmony Grove, they will host Fouke at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
