Soccer Recap: New Covenant Christian Wins Going Away Against Oley Valley

New Covenant Christian barely beat Oley Valley the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Flames were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Lynx on Wednesday. The match was close at halftime, but New Covenant Christian turned on the heat in the second half with three goals.

They hit Oley Valley with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Laney Zimmerman (2), McKenna Kantner, and Qynne Demler.

As for Oley Valley, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Salisbury Township at 4:00 p.m. on October 9.
