Soccer Game Preview: Blue Ridge vs. Berea + How To Watch

The Blue Ridge Tigers will take on the Berea Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Blue Ridge's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

It was a proper cat-fight when Blue Ridge duked it out with Daniel on Tuesday. The Tigers lost 8-1 to the Lions. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Blue Ridge were already down 6-1.

Meanwhile, Berea's match on Tuesday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They never let Travelers Rest get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. Considering Berea have won six contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Stephanie Zavala-Ayala was the driving force of Berea's attack as she scored all three of Berea's goals, bringing her season total up to 29 goals.

Blue Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Berea, their win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 9-7.
