Basketball Game Preview: Clarksville Generals vs. Silver Creek Dragons

Clarksville is 0-10 against Silver Creek since December of 2017 but things could change on Friday. The Clarksville Generals will head out to take on the Silver Creek Dragons at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Clarksville is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Saturday. They came up short against Madison, falling 61-40.

Meanwhile, Silver Creek's undefeated season came to an end after 11 games on Saturday. They took a 68-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Guerin Catholic. The game marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Clarksville's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Silver Creek, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 11-1.

Clarksville came up short against Silver Creek when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 50-39. Can Clarksville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
