Basketball Recap: Highlands Gets the Win

After losing to Edison the last time they met, Highlands decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Highlands Owls snuck past the Edison Golden Bears with a 45-39 win on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Owls.

Highlands pushed their record up to 20-13 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points over those games. As for Edison, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-18.

Highlands does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Edison, they will head out on the road to square off against Burbank at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
