Meanwhile, North Fort Myers made easy work of Gulf Coast on Tuesday and carried off a 6-1 win. Considering the Red Knights have won 16 matchups by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

St. Petersburg's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those four contests. As for North Fort Myers, their win bumped their record up to 19-2.
