Volleyball Recap: University School of Milwaukee Comes Up Short

University School of Milwaukee lost against Heritage Christian back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Patriots. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Their offense was headlined by Sofie Bucher and Darcy Doyle, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Rosie Barksdale and her 12 assists. Finally, Lauren Stone kept University School of Milwaukee's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Heritage Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nina Dorger led the charge by getting ten digs and one assist.

University School of Milwaukee's loss dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Heritage Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-6 record this season.

University School of Milwaukee has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Living Word Lutheran on the 17th. As for Heritage Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Brookfield Academy on the 17th.
