Dighton has gone 8-2 against Greeley County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Dighton Hornets will head out on the road to face off against the Greeley County Jackrabbits at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, Dighton strolled past Otis-Bison with points to spare, taking the game 44-26. Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 139th, while the Cougars are ranked 309th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Greeley County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against Cheyenne Wells by a score of 44-34 on Tuesday.

The victory got Greeley County back to even at 6-6. As for Dighton, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-7.

Dighton didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Greeley County in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, but they still walked away with a 28-24 victory. Will Dighton repeat their success, or does Greeley County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
