Baseball Recap: Christian Comes Up Short

Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coronado Islanders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Islanders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-1 last Monday.

Christian saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Xander Molina, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Coronado, they pushed their record up to 13-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

While Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
