            Sammamish hasn't had much luck against North Creek recently, but that could start to change  on Tuesday. The Sammamish RedHawks will welcome the North Creek Jaguars  at 5:40  p.m. Given that  both  suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  match.
On Saturday, Sammamish came up short against Redmond  and fell  56-46. While losing is never fun, the RedHawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings  (they are ranked 175th, while the Mustangs are ranked 19th).
 Despite their  defeat, Sammamish saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays.  Cerise Boyer, who  went 6 of 13  en route to 12  points in addition to six  boards and three  steals, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was  Tezi Lyons, who  went 5 for 12  on her way to 13 points along with seven  rebounds and three  steals.
 Meanwhile, North Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They were beaten by Woodinville 73-33.
 North Creek's defeat  ended  a  five-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 13-6. As for Sammamish, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
 Things could have been worse for Sammamish, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took  a  59-44 loss to North Creek in their previous matchup  back in December of 2024.
