Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mingo Valley Christian). Everything went their way against the Mercy School Institute Mustangs on Thursday as the Mingo Valley Christian Eagles made off with a 5-1 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-0.

The victory made it two in a row for Mingo Valley Christian and bumps their season record up to 2-3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two contests. As for Mercy School Institute, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Mingo Valley Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Wright Christian at 4:00 p.m. on April 14th. Mercy School Institute does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
