Baseball Recap: Roseau's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Roseau came into Tuesday's contest having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Fosston Greyhounds on Tuesday. The Rams not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 22nd (when they won 13-4).

The team relied heavily on Tucker Kvien, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Anton Klint, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

Roseau's win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Fosston, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roseau will square off against Badger/Greenbush-Middle River at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fosston, they will head out to challenge Kittson Central at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
