Volleyball Recap: St. Anthony Triumphs

St. Anthony saw some tournament action on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Geneseo Maple Leafs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

St. Anthony's victory bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Geneseo, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-8.

St. Anthony and Geneseo should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Bulldogs (ranked 109th) will meet Dieterich (ranked 594th) at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Geneseo will face off against East Moline United at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (107 vs. 286).
