Volleyball Recap: Millry's Loss Ends Eight-Game Winning Streak at Home

Millry lost against Washington County last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wildcats have suffered against the Bulldogs since August 27, 2024.

Millry was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Washington County work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-20, 24-18.

Millry's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2. As for Washington County, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

While Millry had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
