Softball Recap: St. John Paul II Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for St. John Paul II's offense. They came up short against Rising Tide on Thursday, falling 19-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Rising Tide this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-6 back in April.

St. John Paul II now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Rising Tide, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, St. John Paul II and Rising Tide will both be playing Mashpee the next time they take the field. The Lions will head out to face the Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, while Rising Tide will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
