Baseball Recap: McNairy Central Victorious

While McNairy Central put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Scotts Hill. The Bobcats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lions, sneaking past 1-0. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Jt Nuckolls looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.

McNairy Central's win bumped their record up to 16-11. As for Scotts Hill, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-15-1 record.

Coming up, McNairy Central will challenge Lexington at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Scotts Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
