Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 143rd, while the Panthers are ranked 423rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Wallington, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Wallington will take on St. Mary at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Mary will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Wallington surely won't give up without a fight.
