Baseball Recap: Hercules Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Hercules's offense. They came up short against the El Cerrito Gauchos on Wednesday, falling 12-0. The loss continues a trend for the Titans in their meetings with the Gauchos: they've now lost three in a row.

Hercules saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rrion Walker, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Hercules' defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for El Cerrito, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7.

While Hercules had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
