Baseball Recap: Northwood Wins Going Away Against Wawasee

NorthWood came out on top against Wawasee on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fourth inning. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Warriors. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Mason Bogan made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs.

In other batting news, NorthWood got a big performance out of Brody Rondeau, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That double marked the first that Rondeau has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Nathan Shrock, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

NorthWood's record is now 14-7. As for Wawasee, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.
