Softball Recap: Lincoln Cardinals vs. Adrian Blackhawks
After flying high against La Monte last Wednesday, Lincoln came back down to earth. The Lincoln Cardinals fell just short of the Adrian Blackhawks by a score of 10-8 on Monday. Lincoln was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Adrian apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.
Lexie Dulaban made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Courtney Stephens was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-5.
On Adrian's side, Kaydence Enos was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and three unearned) runs off ten hits. Enos was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
