Chesapeake took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They took down Sparrows Point 60-45. That 15 point margin sets a new team best for the Bay Hawks this season.

Chesapeake had a senior duo take command as Julius White posted 12 points and Lavar Ragin scored 11 points. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for White. The team also got some help courtesy of Camaren Battle, who had eight points.

While the Gators didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Perry Hall's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points per game. As for Chesapeake, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
