Grantsville put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Union Cougars 71-29. The Cowboys have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Grantsville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Baylee Lowder out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine boards. What's more, Lowder also racked up seven assists, the most she's had since back in January of 2024. Avery Allred was another key player, going 8 for 14 on her way to 20 points and six steals.

Grantsville was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in four consecutive games.

Despite the defeat, Union had strong showings from Payzlei Parrish, who posted 11 points and six rebounds, and LYDIA HOSCHOUER, who put up six points and five boards.

Grantsville pushed their record up to 18-0 with the victory, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.8 points per game. As for Union, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Grantsville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 67-34 loss against Ridgeline on the 27th. As for Union, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 53-25 win against Ben Lomond on the 28th.
