It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Henry-Senachwine ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the St. Bede Bruins, sneaking past 3-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Mallards, who have now won nine games in a row.

Henry-Senachwine's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for St. Bede, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7.

Henry-Senachwine will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bruins: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
