After losing to Ayersville the last time they met, Wauseon decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wauseon Indians blew past the Ayersville Pilots 50-28 on Tuesday. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Ayersville saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kendyl Booher posted 11 points in addition to five rebounds and three blocks.

Wauseon is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.9 points per game. As for Ayersville, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-16.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wauseon will face off against Archbold at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Wauseon sitting on three straight wins and Archbold on four.
