Basketball Recap: Istrouma Piles Up the Points Against Jehovah-Jireh

There's no place like home for Istrouma, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Jehovah-Jireh Warriors 77-32. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won four in a row.

Istrouma's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Jehovah-Jireh, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, Istrouma will square off against Family Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians will be up against the Flames' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Jehovah-Jireh, they will take on Christ Episcopal School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
