Basketball Recap: Waterloo Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against North Tama last Monday, Waterloo Christian came back down to earth. The Waterloo Christian Regents fell 50-40 to Baxter on Friday. The Regents haven't had much luck with Baxter recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Waterloo Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Baxter, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Waterloo Christian and Baxter could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Iowa Rankings. Waterloo Christian (ranked 298th) will meet Dunkerton (ranked 123rd) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Baxter will face off against North Mahaska at 6:00 p.m. on Monday down 145 places (179 vs. 34).
