Baseball Recap: Wonderful College Prep Academy Comes Up Short

Wonderful College Prep Academy lost against Strathmore back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wolves lost 14-4 to the Spartans.

Miguel Ochoa and Sebastian Ruiz stepped up to the plate in a big way. Ochoa scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances, while Ruiz scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-3. Diego Ochoa was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one RBI.

Wonderful College Prep Academy now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Strathmore, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-5.

Wonderful College Prep Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 13-0 defeat against Woodlake on the 2nd. As for Strathmore, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-0 loss against Porterville on the 29th.
