Volleyball Recap: Las Lomas Takes a Loss

Las Lomas was the 3-2 winner over Benicia when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell 3-1 to the Panthers on Tuesday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Las Lomas was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Benicia work for it, especially in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 22-25, 25-20, 26-24.

Zoe Cohen had an outrageously good game for Benicia as she had 23 digs and two aces. Cohen is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Las Lomas' defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Benicia, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Coincidentally, Las Lomas and Benicia will both be playing Campolindo the next time they take the court. The Knights will host the Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
