Baseball Recap: Harrison Comes Up Short

Harrison's last matchup with Fishers could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Saturday. The Raiders came up short against the Tigers, falling 7-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Raiders were not able to get on the board.

Blake Scales was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over 6.1 innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Harrison and nudges their season record down to 11-3. As for Fishers, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season.

Harrison will be playing in front of their home fans against Westfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fishers, they will venture away from home to take on Carmel at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Greyhounds' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
