Basketball Recap: Plainview Comes Up Short

Plainview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Dickson Comets, falling 65-35. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 318th, while the Comets are ranked 78th).

Plainview's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Dickson, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

Plainview will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lone Grove at 8:00 p.m. on the 27th. As for Dickson, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 73-43 win against Wynnewood on the 17th.
