Baseball Recap: Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter Comes Up Short

Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter extended their losing streak to five on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 1-6 in the process. They lost 10-1 to the Monrovia Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 8-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

As for Monrovia, the win got them back to even at 4-4. They not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 9, 2024 (when they won 22-2).

For Monrovia's part, Grant Kluemper was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs Kluemper has posted since back in May of 2024. Michael Terrell was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

While Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
