Volleyball Recap: Lee Park Prep Takes a Loss

Lee Park Prep lost against Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy on October 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Knights fell 3-1 to the Patriots.

Emma Shulenberger paced Lee Park Prep's offense, picking up eight kills. Shulenberger got some help from Baylor Currie and her eight assists. Shulenberger was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Lee Park Prep has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season. As for Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 17-4.

Lee Park Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Heritage Christian on the 21st. Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
