Football Recap: Ligonier Valley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Ligonier Valley fell victim to Jeannette and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 31-0 loss at the hands of the Jayhawks. The Rams' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row dating back to last season.

Even if they lost, Ligonier Valley's defensive line still kept up the pressure with five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Mike Hillen and Connor Faas, who racked up all five sacks between them.

Ligonier Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Jeannette, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Ligonier Valley and Jeannette will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Rams will take on rival Shady Side Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Jeannette is set to face off against their familiar foe Frazier at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
