Basketball Recap: Windsor Locks Raiders vs. Windham RVT Mighty Tigers
The Windsor Locks Raiders won the last time they faced the Windham RVT Mighty Tigers, and things went their way on Thursday too. Everything went Windsor Locks' way against the Mighty Tigers as the Raiders made off with a 51-30 win.
Maeve McGinnis continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 13 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. Jasmine Hurdle was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven steals.
Windsor Locks' win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Windham RVT, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.
Windsor Locks will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Tigers at 6:45 p.m. Sports & Medical Sciences Academy is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. As for Windham RVT, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Grasso Tech comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last 13 games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
