Sydney Ellis made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Peyton Ledoux was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run.
Covington Academy suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 4-3. As for Creekside Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
Monday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Creekside Christian Academy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .470. However, it's not like Covington Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .469. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
