Basketball Recap: Philomath Comes Up Short

Philomath and Seaside squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Philomath had to settle for second. They fell to the Seaside Seagulls 38-34. The Warriors' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Philomath's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Seaside, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 15-9.

Philomath does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seaside, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-34 loss against Cascade on the 13th.
