Mills University Studies put the finishing touches on their fifth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They blew past Morrilton 39-14.
Achillies Ringo had a dynamite game for Mills University Studies, throwing for 302 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.4% of his passes, and also rushing for 109 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. Another player making a difference was Javian Love, who picked up 130 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Vilonia ended up a good deal behind Maumelle on Friday and lost 44-28.
Mills University Studies' victory lifted them to 8-1 while Vilonia's defeat dropped them down to 3-7.
Mills University Studies was able to grind out a solid victory over Vilonia when the teams last played back in November of 2022, winning 48-35. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Vilonia's Jack Vines, who picked up 100 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be that much easier for Mills University Studies to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
