Volleyball Game Preview: Park Hill South Panthers vs. Park Hill Trojans

Park Hill South is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will welcome the Park Hill Trojans at 5:00 p.m. Park Hill South will be strutting in after a victory while Park Hill will be coming in after a defeat.

On Monday, Park Hill South made easy work of Lincoln College Prep and carried off a 3-0 win.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-17, 28-26.

Meanwhile, Park Hill came up short against Oak Park on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Park Hill was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-16, 25-23.

Park Hill has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8-1 record this season. As for Park Hill South, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
