Baseball Recap: Hillside Comes Up Short

Hillside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the East Chapel Hill Wildcats, falling 16-3. The Hornets were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Quamay Palmer was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

Hillside's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for East Chapel Hill, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wildcats beat Hillside by a score of 7-6 later that day.
