Soccer Game Preview: Plymouth vs. Salem + How To Watch

The Plymouth Wildcats will take on the Salem Rocks at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Plymouth will be strutting in after a victory while Salem will be coming in after a loss.

Plymouth took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand Western International a 4-0 shutout.

Meanwhile, Salem was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 4-2 to Edsel Ford. While losing is never fun, Salem can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 88th, while Edsel Ford are ranked 30th).

Plymouth now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Salem, they now have a losing record of 7-8-2.

Plymouth suffered a grim 5-2 defeat to Salem when the teams last played back in August. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
