Football Recap: Alisal Trojans vs. North Monterey County Condors
Alisal was the 41-32 winner over North Monterey County when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Alisal Trojans took a 27-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Monterey County Condors.
North Monterey County had a senior duo take command as Kenji Mellin picked up 121 receiving yards and three touchdowns and Aj Gomez threw for 162 yards and four touchdowns. Those 121 receiving yards set a new season-high mark for Mellin. Christopher Rasmussen-Horan helped Gomez out on the ground, rushing for 116 yards.
Alisal's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for North Monterey County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.
