Tohatchi extended their  winning streak to 11 games  thanks to a huge performance from  Kyle Yazzie. The Tohatchi Cougars strolled past the Navajo Prep Eagles with  points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game  81-67 thanks in part to  Yazzie, who  went 8 for 14  en route to 23  points and eight  steals. His evening made it eight games in a row in which  he has scored at least 16 points.
 Another player making a difference was  Josh Dawes, who  went 7 of 14  to rack up 22 points in addition to six  boards and five  assists. He has been hot for a while, having  posted 15 or more  points the last 13 times he's  played.
Tohatchi pushed their record up to 19-2 with the  win, which was their ninth straight  on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 66.0 points over those games. As for Navajo Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.
 Tohatchi wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  71-40  victory against Crownpoint on the 7th. As for Navajo Prep, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  68-54  win against Thoreau on the 7th.
