Football Game Preview: Alta Hawks vs. Fremont Silverwolves + Official Tickets

Two dominant signal callers in Tucker Brown and Manase Tuatagaloa are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Alta Hawks will challenge the Fremont Silverwolves at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Alta is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Roy 49-7. The game marked the Hawks' most dominant win of the season.

Ber Strong was the offensive standout of the contest as he picked up 126 receiving yards and one TD.

Alta's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB 6.5 times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Mason Clark, Porter Maughan, and Liam Rowley, who each picked up 1.5 sacks apiece. Ryker Ellis got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Fremont hadn't done well against Roy recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way two weeks ago. The Silverwolves blew past the Royals 41-21. The Silverwolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Alta better keep an eye on Slade Parker. He was instrumental in Fremont's win, picking up 62 receiving yards and three scores, while also rushing for 52 yards and one touchdown. Those three receiving touchdowns gave Parker a new career-high. Salesi Moa also helped out with an impressive 115 receiving yards.

Fremont is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.6 points over those games. As for Alta, their record is now 4-7.
