Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Elk Lake). The high-scoring effort was just what Elk Lake needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

With the win, Elk Lake broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4. As for Forest City, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
