Soccer Game Preview: Pensacola Catholic vs. Booker T. Washington

The Pensacola Catholic Crusaders will venture away from home to face off against the Booker T. Washington Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Pensacola Catholic's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Booker T. Washington's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Pensacola Catholic is headed into the matchup without a loss and will look to keep things rolling. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Gulf Breeze on Monday, sneaking past 1-0. The Crusaders wouldn't have won without Anna Baumann, who scored the game-winner.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in December of 2024, Booker T. Washington was forced to settle for a draw on Monday. They and North Bay Haven Academy finished up their game with a 2-2 draw.

Pensacola Catholic pushed their record up to 14-0-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home. Booker T. Washington's draw makes their record 4-7-3 this season.

Everything went Pensacola Catholic's way against Booker T. Washington in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as Pensacola Catholic made off with a 4-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pensacola Catholic since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
