Baseball Recap: Reidsville Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Reidsville's offense. They lost 19-0 to the Rockingham County Cougars on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Rams have suffered against the Cougars since April 20, 2022.

Reidsville's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-4. As for Rockingham County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Rockingham County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-1 win against Cornerstone Charter Academy on the 18th. Hopefully Reidsville paid attention to the Cougars' game: the next time they hit the field , they'll take on the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
